1. What is a bath bomb?

A bath bomb is a pressed ball of ingredients that, when exposed to water, will activate and start to fizz. When placed in your bath, they release color, fragrance, and moisturizing oils into the water as you soak.

2. What does a bath bomb do?

A bath bomb fizzes — much like an Alka-Seltzer — and releases color, fragrance, and moisturizing oils into the water. The fizzing action and citric acid can help to slough off dead skin cells, aiding in exfoliation.

14. Can bath bombs be used for children's baths?

They sure can! Kids love bath bombs, and they're a great way to entice a reluctant bather to get in the tub. 15. Can bath bombs be used in both bath and shower?

You could use a bath bomb in the shower, but that's not really their intended purpose. There is, however, a product called a shower steamer, which is designed for use in the shower.
