That depends entirely on what you're allergic to. While our Bare Naked Lady sprays don't contain any of the major, widely-recognized allergens (such as peanut or tree nut products, for example), it is entirely possible to be allergic to pretty much anything. We avoid the worst offenders, but it's impossible to eliminate every potential allergen and still have something resembling a viable product.

The ingredients, for starters — perfumes use an alcohol base while Bare Naked Lady Sprays are water-based. Perfumes are also typically a little longer-lasting because they have ingredients that hold the fragrance on the skin longer and slow down the rate at which it dissipates.

Yes, it can! Our formulation is made to be used on both your body and your clothing. We would advise against using it on delicate fabrics such as silk, though. If you are unsure about the safety of the product on a particular fabric, we recommend doing a spot test by applying a small amount of spray to an inconspicuous area of the garment and checking to see if it leaves a mark.

That's not what it was designed for, but yes, it does work and we do have customers who use it for that purpose. As with clothing, we recommend testing the spray on an inconspicuous area of your furniture or linens to ensure it doesn't stain before you go wild with it. On most fabrics, it's fine. Better to be safe than sorry, though.

23. How do I store my Bare Naked Lady Spray to maintain its quality?

Nothing complicated, just common-sense stuff, really:

  • Keep the bottle upright to prevent leakage. Our bottles are pretty good, but there's always a chance of failure.
  • If you're going to store it on its side or toss it in your purse or gym bag, it's a good idea to put the little locking clip that came with it back on the neck of the sprayer.
  • If you're putting it in your bag, maybe also consider placing the entire bottle inside a ziplock bag in case of leakage. Not mandatory, but a nice precaution in case of leakage.
  • Don't expose it to extreme heat or cold for prolonged periods.
